VoIP’s impact reaches far beyond that of a phone replacement. At a time when the consumer and enterprise markets are just beginning to roll out advanced VoIP/video phone products in volume, there are countless un-tapped opportunities to embed voice and video over IP technology into applications/products for the automotive, industrial, medical and retail markets.

From VoIP intercoms to video monitoring, commercial applications for IP communications are enabling product differentiation and rapid innovation of today’s legacy products. On the consumer front, advances in broadband and processing power are creating the opportunity to design unique, tailor-made IP communications functionality into virtually any connected device — from personal media players (PMPs) to WiFi video phones.

This webinar will explore how the flexibility of IP networks, the features of VoIP and the intelligence of SIP can be integrated into new and existing products/services to enable compelling commercial, industrial and consumer solutions.

Topics addressed will include:

  • New and changing market dynamics that reach far beyond Telecom

  • Product design trends and the integration of SIP-based technology

  • Key considerations for voice/video over IP hardware and software architectures

  • How to streamline product development and lower overall BOM costs

Who should attend?
OEMs and ODMs looking to innovate traditional and legacy products with voice and video over IP technology.
