Nominum and Acme Packet are defining a new approach to IP interconnects for VoIP and multimedia services. Join them on May 16th for a webinar on the role of IP interconnects for wholesale carriers and the requirements for making them secure, scalable and successful.
Efficient, effective call routing is essential to a wholesale interconnect carrier’s profit margins and operations. As true VoIP traffic continues to increase, a growing percentage of carrier interconnects are happening on IP networks. This environment presents numerous challenges to wholesale carriers, including:
- A proliferation of VoIP providers with which to manage termination and origination agreements
- A wide array of routing options, with varying service quality
- Complex, error-prone routing management processes
- Network security and call quality
Nominum and Acme Packet are changing the way wholesale carriers perform VoIP interconnects based on lessons learned in recent implementations.
We invite you to join us for a webinar on May 16th discussing this new approach to IP interconnections. The topics covered will include:
- Wholesale/transit carriers’ current needs: moving to IP-IP interconnects
- Preserving termination and settlement business models and route management
- Protecting wholesale core network and ensuring SLAs
- The essential role of IP-application Routing Directories (IPRDs) and Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
